US Military Forces Closely Encircle Nicolás Maduro and the Cartel of the Suns Amid Growing Accusations

As of now, the Cartel of the Suns and its leader, Nicolás Maduro, are cornered by U.S. military forces already positioned near the coasts of Venezuela.

According to the data we have, the U.S. military presence includes missile ships, destroyers, marines, and assault aircraft. They lie in wait due to the charges brought in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Maduro, Diosdado Cabello, Hugo “El Pollo” Carvajal Barrios, and Cliver Alcalá Cordones, all members of the Cartel of the Suns, which has been designated by the U.S. government as a global terrorist organization.

This indictment also extends to Luciano Marín Arango, known as “Iván Márquez,” and Seuxis Paucis Hernández Solarte, known as “Jesús Santrich,” for crimes including narcoterrorism, violations of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), and the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Designation Act.

For the head of this organization—specifically, Nicolás Maduro—the Donald Trump administration has offered a reward of USD 50 million.

In Guyana, which has a historical territorial dispute with Venezuela over Esequibo, missile battery installations are reportedly in place, further tightening the noose around the Venezuelan dictator and leader of the criminal organization.

Crisis and Geopolitical Tension

The situation depicts a severe crisis in Venezuela and significant geopolitical tension in light of a potential military operation aimed at capturing the leadership of the Cartel of the Suns based in Venezuelan territory, primarily represented by Nicolás Maduro and Diosdado Cabello.

This means it would not be a political intervention but a capture of Maduro due to his alleged role as a drug trafficker. The U.S. does not recognize him as the legitimate president of Venezuela.

A complex scenario with both regional and global actors involved could lead to a shift in power dynamics in Venezuela with major geopolitical implications.

Unprecedented Military Pressure on the Cartel of the Suns and Maduro

The region is facing massive, high-tech military mobilization by the U.S. towards the Venezuelan coast, which includes:

  • 3 missile ships with precision strike capability within a 1 square meter radius.
  • 3 ships carrying 6,700 marines for amphibious invasion.
  • 23 vertical take-off Harrier jets that have reportedly identified the locations of Maduro and Cabello.
  • 20 assault helicopters.
  • Aerospace troops in Bonaire and Puerto Rico.
  • 2 Ohio-class submarines.
  • 2 squadrons of F35s.

This military deployment is unprecedented in Latin America.

In Guyana, a missile battery has already been established, along with combat groups like the elite Navy SEALs and Black Hawks.
