London, May 21, 2012 | This is the type of initiative that everyone in Venezuela should support. Electoral experts, meaning people who have taken the time to investigate and follow up on the multiple scams that the dying leader and his election ministry have been orchestrating since 2004, are going to expose in a public forum the various problems that Venezuelans face when it comes to voting. Any Venezuelan who still believes that the results announced by the CNE truly reflect reality, as the people vote, is clearly delusional, and they are not even getting any of it right.
It would be interesting to know if Ramon Guillermo Aveledo, who blatantly lied to the country in an interview with Globovisión saying that the electoral system had supposedly been “sufficiently audited,” will attend this forum (none of my contacts in Venezuela, nor those of my blogger colleagues, are aware of the supposed audits that the MUD claims to have conducted according to what Aveledo says). Will other self-proclaimed leaders of the MUD attend? Or will they continue with the farce that insists that elections in Venezuela are merely dictated by Chavez? We will see as the sun rises… Meanwhile, those who can read should get informed.
