Despite his absurd claims of having been cured of a mysterious cancer, presumably through Cuban voodoo medicine, Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chávez looks very unwell, as seen in this recent image. Chávez appears swollen in the face and behind his ears.
However, the image tells a different story. Considering that Chávez, who has failed to fulfill any of the promises and statements he has made over the past 12 years, is the only source of this late announcement, one can only conclude that declaring himself cancer-free is just another unfounded and inaccurate claim from this dictatorial leader, and the opposite may actually be true.
