Another Political Prisoner Escapes the Failing Venezuelan Regime

Local sources have confirmed that the former governor of Yaracuy, Eduardo Lapi, has escaped from the San Felipe prison. Lapi had been incarcerated for around a year. The prosecution never managed to file charges, which made Lapi one of the most notorious political prisoners of the chavista regime.
It’s important to note that union leader Carlos Ortega was also imprisoned on false accusations, and he too managed to escape from what is supposedly Venezuela’s most secure military prison.

This is big news, as it becomes clear that the dictator Hugo Chávez is not even capable of keeping his political enemies behind bars.
