The Colombian businessman accused of being a frontman for Maduro and Raúl Gorrín, owner of Globovisión and El Universal, financial operator for Cilia Flores and her family, have been detained at El Helicoide since early today. Sources from Cuentas Claras Digital report that Saab and Gorrín were captured in Caracas related to a request from U.S. authorities.
Early this Wednesday, movements were detected among members of the regime’s top brass, with some supporting the action and others expressing concerns. It was revealed that Alex Saab was disoriented and dejected.
Both Saab and Gorrín have been identified as key operatives in the regime’s corruption machinery. Saab is labeled as Maduro’s frontman, while Raúl Gorrín has acted as an operator for Cilia Flores and her children. Due to this, both possess valuable information regarding the kleptocracy that has governed Venezuela in recent years.
