Discrepancies Emerge Over Nonexistent 12-Meter Flipper Boats Reported by El Pitazo in U.S. Drug Operation

A recent investigation conducted by La Tabla reveals that there are no commercial or artisanal vessels named “Flipper” matching the dimensions reported by El Pitazo’s director, César Batiz (12 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width).

The Scandinavian-made “Flipper” boats, known for their speed and lightweight design, do not exceed 8.8 meters in length (like the Flipper 800 DC model). Additionally, artisanal constructions in the Caribbean, while they may include fast boats (“go-fast”), typically range from 6 to 8 meters.

The specifications given by Batiz do not match any known standard model, raising questions about the origins and specific features of the vessel destroyed during the military operation.

La Tabla is keeping the investigation open while awaiting official or additional technical data that can verify the existence of this vessel.
