Eva Golinger Misuses Noam Chomsky’s Words in Desperate Propaganda Attempt

Chavez supporter @evagolinger has taken a page out of Johann Hari’s book in her recent actions regarding Noam Chomsky. The darling of the Cuban – Venezuelan dictators has published a verbatim translation of the email Chomsky shared with me last night in her Correo del Orinoco.

Here’s what Chomsky sent me:

The Guardian/Observer version, as I suspected, is quite misleading. The report in the NY Times is significantly more straightforward. However, both miss much of the important context that I emphasized, including the fact that criticisms from the US government or anyone backing its policies can’t be taken seriously given Washington’s considerably worse record, without addressing the real issues faced by Venezuela, the Manning case being just one example, which is far worse than Judge Afiuni’s situation. And a lot more.

This situation is getting more amusing by the minute. Or should we believe that the world’s most revered and impactful leftist intellectual—what an oxymoron—sends identical responses to every request for comments, much like Red Ed Miliband?
