This Monday, the newly established National Anti-Corruption Police under Nicolás Maduro’s government revealed a fresh scandal within the state oil company Pdvsa, leading to the arrest of two high-ranking military officials, three judges, a mayor, and a deputy. Among those captured are Joselit Ramírez, Hugbel Roa, Antonio Pérez Suárez, José Agustín Ramos, Pedro Hernández, Cristóbal Cornielles, and José Macsimino Márquez, who are accused of being part of a network that allegedly diverted profits from the sale of Venezuelan crude oil.
The disappearance of over $3 billion from Pdvsa’s funds is believed to have triggered this new purge within Chavismo, with Tareck El Aissami and part of his close circle being implicated.

Hannelly Quintero, Bernardo Arosio and their children
Unofficial sources indicate that Alejandro Arroyo, Luis Nahin, Rogers Ramírez Donante, Juan Alfonso López, Manuel Enrique Meneses, Rafael Guillermo Perdomo, Kristhonfer Barrios Vivas, Roger Perdomo Rodríguez, and Bernardo Arosio are among the wanted individuals due to alleged corruption within Pdvsa.
One name that has drawn considerable attention is Bernardo Arosio, a businessman in the construction sector and the majority shareholder of the company that acquired Prodata Energy, a firm favored by Pdvsa for the export of Venezuelan gas to Colombia.
Arosio, along with his brother Tadeo, has developed numerous real estate projects in Caracas and Los Roques, including inns, restaurants, luxury residences, hotels, and buildings, all promoted through their company ATB Constructores.
On his personal social media, Arosio describes himself as a businessman who “lives and believes in Venezuela”, a family man who highlights his greatest achievements as being a father of four and the husband of Hannelly Quintero.
The model, host, and one of the most controversial beauty queens of the past fifteen years carries her married name on social media: Hannelly Quintero de Arosio. Despite frequently posting pictures with her now-fugitive husband, she has refrained from addressing the corruption case that affects her partner, even though she has not hesitated to speak on issues involving beauty queens and high-ranking officials of Chavismo in the past.
Hannelly Zulami Quintero Ledezma, known as “La Cisne”, is remembered for her public confrontations with Dayana Mendoza, Stefania Fernández, Tatiana Irizar, Zoraya Villarela, and others linked to Diego Salazar’s foundation, which was embroiled in a corruption scandal in 2018. She is also known for having earned the animosity of female talent at Televen, reportedly due to a relationship with Omar Gerardo Camero, president of the channel, which caused her to take all the spotlight on the red ball signal.
Another widely discussed relationship of Hannelly Quintero was the secret one she kept with Lorenzo Mendoza, president of Empresas Polar, during the time she was one of the popular Chicas Polar.
At one point, Quintero accused these queens of becoming involved in “a scam in a foundation that drained the country”. “They filled their accounts with dollars taken from the bleeding of Pdvsa,” she wrote then.
Today, her own name is at the center of the storm due to her marriage to Arosio, whom she has publicly described as “her greatest gift”. In one of her latest posts with him, the ex-miss wrote:
