After departing from the Venezuelan port of Jose in early December, the tanker “Skipper” navigated the eastern Caribbean Sea. According to the latest maritime tracking data, its most recent known position was at 00:26 UTC on December 11, off the northeastern coast of Grenada.
Location of Interception:
· Coordinates: 11.68645° North latitude, -61.3302° West longitude.
· Area: Eastern Caribbean waters, north of the Venezuelan coast and near Trinidad and Tobago.
· Context: This position, south of Grenada and east of the Venezuelan territorial waters, aligns with the general area where the U.S. Coast Guard executed the seizure order on the afternoon of December 10. Speed data (8.1 knots) indicated that the vessel was actively navigating just before the operation.

This route confirms that the vessel, after loading crude oil in Venezuela, was heading towards the Atlantic, most likely with an initial course towards Georgetown, Guyana, its registered port, before being intercepted in international waters.
