The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has ordered the immediate implementation of a special plan to ensure the air connectivity of the Venezuelan population. This decision comes in response to recent threats of airspace blockage by the United States government.

This measure was announced this [day] by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, who explained that the plan focuses on two main actions: facilitating the return of Venezuelans stranded in foreign airports and ensuring flight itineraries for those needing to travel abroad from Venezuela.

“In response to this new aggression, President Nicolás Maduro has ordered a special plan for the return of Venezuelans stuck in other countries, as well as to ease the travel itineraries for those going outside our territory,” the Vice President stated.

Rodríguez emphasized that the Venezuelan government has activated all multilateral mechanisms in accordance with International Law to demand the immediate cessation of what she termed an “illegitimate and unlawful” action by the United States, which was reportedly requested by opposition figure María Corina Machado.

The senior official reaffirmed the country’s institutional strength to confront these coercive actions, concluding with a powerful message of confidence: “Venezuela will always triumph!”
