Spanish Law Enforcement Shatters Aragua Train’s Operations in Europe, Exposing Maduro’s Deception

In a groundbreaking operation that marks a pivotal moment in the fight against transnational organized crime, the Spanish National Police delivered the most devastating blow ever seen in Europe against the Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan megagang classified as a foreign terrorist organization by the U.S. Thirteen arrests were made. Two pink cocaine laboratories—known as tusi or 2C-B—were dismantled in the heart of Barcelona. Four individuals are currently in preventive custody in the National Court. And here’s an undeniable truth: the Tren de Aragua was not a myth. It was a real threat that Madrid and Caracas had been denying for years.

This investigation, based on official police sources, declassified documents from the U.S. State Department, and cross-statements from senior Venezuelan officials, reveals how Spain became the gateway for Venezuelan narcoterrorism into Europe…and how the Police acted just in time.

The Operation Interciti Phase 2: The lightning that struck Barcelona.

At 6:00 AM on November 7, 2025, more than 100 agents simultaneously raided five locations. The epicenter was Barcelona, where eight of the thirteen arrested—all Venezuelans—operated as a well-structured cell.

The remaining arrests were made in Madrid (2), Valencia (1), Girona (1), and A Coruña (1).

In the searches, authorities found:

Two complete homemade labs for synthesizing tusi
12 kilos of both raw and processed cocaine
Ketamine, ecstasy, and industrial quantities of chemical precursors
One prohibited electrical weapon (taser type)
Fake documentation and €47,000 in cash.

The official video released by the National Police is shocking: agents entering apartments in l’Eixample and hauling out bags of pink drugs in piles.

This marks the second phase of Operation Interciti, which began in March 2024 with the arrest in Barcelona of Yeraldine Guerrero Flores, the biological sister of the notorious leader: Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero, alias Niño Guerrero.

From Tocorón to the Old Continent: The True Story of Tren de Aragua

To understand the impact of this operation, we need to go back to the Tocorón prison in the Aragua state, Venezuela. 2013-2015: It began as a prison union under the leadership of Niño Guerrero.

2018-2022: It evolved into a transnational megagang. It controls trafficking routes, extortion, and illegal mining in Chile, Peru, Colombia, Bolivia, and Brazil.

September 20, 2023: The Maduro regime staged a “great grenade operation” against Tocorón. Niño Guerrero escaped by helicopter with his henchmen. The U.S. offers $12 million for his capture.

January 20, 2025: Donald Trump signed an executive order designating the Tren de Aragua as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) alongside ISIS and Al Qaeda.

February 2025: The Federal Register published the official list. Rewards: Niño Guerrero: $12 million
Giovanny San Vicente: $10 million
Other leaders: $5-7 million.

Texas labeled them as terrorists in 2024. Trump promised to “wipe them off the hemisphere.”

The Great Lie Madrid Has Repeated for Years

For years, Chavismo systematically denied the existence of the Tren de Aragua: Nicolás Maduro, March 19, 2025: “The Tren de Aragua is history, cosmic dust. It does not exist in Venezuela.”

Diosdado Cabello: “It’s a brand invented by the media.”
Tarek William Saab: “It does not exist as a criminal structure.”

Today, with 13 arrests on European soil, those statements have been reduced to ashes. Police sources consulted affirm: “The regime not only tolerated them but allowed them to operate from prisons turned into command centers.” A U.S. intelligence report from May 2025 concluded that Maduro does not control the Tren de Aragua, nor did he fight them.

Spain: Why Was It the Number 1 Target?

Investigators were clear since 2024: The largest Venezuelan community in Europe (over 400,000 people)
Direct flights from Bogotá and Lima, routes controlled by the gang
Barcelona’s nightlife: the perfect market for tusi, sold for €100 per gram in nightclubs.

Without this operation, in six months they could have established cells in Paris, Milan, and Berlin. The Police acted preventively, averting a criminal invasion similar to that of the Balkan clans in the 90s. The FBI is actively participating in the investigation. Sources from the Spanish Interior Ministry confirm: “This is just the beginning. There are more sleeper cells.”

Conclusion: Europe Said Enough Today, November 7, 2025, Spain has shown that Venezuelan narcoterrorism has no place in the Old Continent.

Today, Maduro’s lie has evaporated forever. And today, Europe breathes a sigh of relief…but remains vigilant.
